The most exquisite, modern day Halvorsen we have seen! A 65 (65/26) yachtfisher design built by Marine & Engineering Co (Hong Kong). Known now as Safari, this beautiful vessel was originally launched in 1989 in Sydney Australia. It was proudly delivered by the Halvorsen family. It has of recent years under gone an extensive restoration (commencing in 2012) controlled by the Halvorsen group themselves and the now owner. All super structure equipment has been stripped and either upgraded or restored as new. The vessels complete teak flooring system has been renewed by master craftsmen. All windows themselves have been removed, retrimmed and resealed. This works list is extensive and incredibly detailed. All the vessels tanks have been removed and replaced. Safari now carries in excess of 3000 litres of water delivered through modern polyethylene tanks. The new stainless steel fuel cells hold 5,000 litres and are coupled to a new fuel management system. Complete new wiring designs and systems are now throughout the boat these days. The entire boat has been lovingly resprayed with a great amount of attention to detail, to all of the superstructure. The very rear cockpit sole has been rebuilt with a new upper entry staicase. Safety step lighting and upgraded icebox facilities are part of the cockpit area. Not to mention the new 240 volt bbq that is intergrated. The works list continues and we are very pleased to provide a detailed overview of it to you upon request.
The living areas of Safari are lavashly appointed. Isotherm refer units in all the right places! Climate control airconditioning of course. It is simply amazing when you look through this vessel. There are 4 forward cabins which can collectively accomodate up to 8 adults. The rear stateroom is even more impressive. You will note this when referring to the attached portfolio of photos.
As the proud selling agents we are preparing a complete inventory which can be presented to any serious buyer. All viewings are by appointment only. Our principal Jason Ash will be proud to show you on board. Jason himself witnessed all these works over many years. Safari is a modern vessel that measures close to 78 feet in length. This is where boat building heritage stands true and competes with new vessels of similar size. Seeing is believing!
